Enroll in Lehigh Dropbox

Lehigh Dropbox accounts are part of a Dropbox for Business team that provides additional sharing and management features, as well as considerably more storage space than is available from free personal accounts. Follow the instructions below to activate your account for access. Dropbox is available to current faculty, staff, and students.

If you have any questions about your Dropbox account that are not covered by LTS documentation, have a look at the FAQ, or contact the Help Desk by calling 610-758-4357, chat  at lehigh.edu/ltschat, or email helpdesk@lehigh.edu.

To activate your Lehigh Dropbox account, go to https://go.lehigh.edu/dropboxenroll, enter your Lehigh username and password, and click "Enroll Now."

You'll receive an email from Dropbox when your account has been provisioned in 1-2 hours.

If you receive an error, like 'Unable to identify your user group', contact the Help Desk.

Check your email for the 'Welcome' message, and in it, click the blue "Sign in to Dropbox" button.

Alternatively, once your account is ready, you can also simply go to https://dropbox.com/ and click the "Sign In" in the upper right side of the screen.

Note:  Students will see an invitation to the "LU Student" team rather than the "Lehigh University"

On the Dropbox webpage, enter your Lehigh email address in the email box, and you'll see the password box disappear and the message "Single sign-on enabled" in its place.  Click "Continue".

Note: If you previously registered for a personal Dropbox account using your Lehigh email address, the Dropbox wizard will guide you through the process of choosing to either merge that account with the new Lehigh account or to change the email associated with the personal one like this.

At the "Single sign-on" page, click "Sign In."

Enter your Lehigh username and password, and authenticate with Duo when prompted.

A confirmation screen will appear.  Click "Finish joining the team" to proceed to your Dropbox home screen.

At the end of the process, you'll find yourself at your Dropbox home page.  From here you're able to start making use of Dropbox in a number of ways:

NOTE - For best performance and experience, you are strongly encouraged to install the Dropbox Desktop App on your computer. The Dropbox Desktop App will allow you to easily access all your Dropbox files on your computer in the same manner you access traditional files. Changes made to Dropbox files on your computer are instantly synchronized to your Dropbox account. You're missing out on a lot of great functionality if you don't install the Desktop App!
