Have you ever felt anxiety or stress to get it right? To use the correct language or identify the correct acronym? There can be a significant amount of pressure in diversity, inclusion, and equity work to make sure we use the right language. This pressure is oftentimes from a good place as we should strive to use inclusive language, yet what happens if the pressure to get it right prevents us from actually digging deep in community and doing the work? Join us for this new LUally session focused on exploring gender and sexuality language related to self and others while engaging in dialogue and reflection on the idea of humility over competency.
Pizza lunch will be provided.
